ROCKLAND TWP., Pa. -

A Berks County man said he hopes to keep working after he loses his job at the Kraft Foods plant in Lehigh County.

Kraft is discontinuing its private fleet and cutting 285 jobs nationwide. That includes about 30 jobs in Upper Macungie Township.

A man from Rockland Township said he spent 41 years with the company and logged five million miles of safe driving.

"I enjoyed working for them. Sorry to see it end this way. I was going to retire in maybe two more years, but, I just, the younger drivers worry me," said Richard Kutz, transport driver, Kraft Foods.

Kraft said most positions in Upper Macungie will be eliminated in June and employees will receive separation benefits.
