Roof blown off Reading apartment building

READING, Pa. -

Officials said heavy winds and storms caused a roof to blow off an apartment building in Reading Saturday afternoon.

It happened at an apartment at 6th and Chestnut streets in the city.

A 69 News crew at the scene said fire police shut down Chestnut street while it was cleaned up.

Reports of power outages and trees down are also being reported in Lehigh County in the areas of Coopersburg and Upper Saucon Township.
