Royals players help out Habitat for Humanity
On Sunday, some Reading Royals players helped out Habitat for Humanity of Berks County.
Four players, and everyone's favorite mascot, Slapshot, were at the Habitat ReStore in Temple.
The ReStore is a place run solely with donations and volunteers.
Officials say Sunday's event was a great way to get the community out to see what the store is all about.
"It's a great way to have people come out and enjoy the ReStore, people who are interested in the Reading Royals players who may not have even been to the ReStore before to kind of get an idea of what we do here and how it goes back to the mission of Habitat," said Nora Hassan of Habitat for Humanity.
The ReStore is open 7 days a week from 10am until 6pm.
