WEST READING, Pa. -

Pies were flying at Sacred Heart Elementary School in West Reading on Monday.

Students helped the school reach a fundraising goal, so they got to hurl pies at their principal.

Students were all smiles as they lined up to throw the pies.

Some 175 students raised $445 by taking part in a dress-down day last week.

The money helped the school meet its overall goal of $80,000 for operating costs.
