head-on crash in Berks County
A woman and her three-year-old daughter were hurt when their car was involved in a head-on collision in Berks County.
It happened a little before 7 p.m. Tuesday in the 2300 block of Rt. 724 at Red Corner Road in Union Township.
Officials say Megan Ahles, of Douglassville, became trapped in the car after it collided with a pickup truck.
Crews were able to get her out, and she and her child were taken to Reading Hospital.
Police say both are expected to recover.
