Vehicle rolls, bursts into flames; highway closed for an hour

An accident involving a vehicle that rolled onto its roof and burst into flames closed a busy stretch of highway during the evening rush hour.
The crash happened shortly before 5 p.m. on Route 422, near Monocacy Creek Road, in Amity Twp., Berks Co.
The westbound lanes of the highway were closed between Monocacy Creek and Old Airport roads. They reopened around 6 p.m.
Officials have not released any information about injuries.
