Vehicle rolls onto side, closes stretch of highway
A vehicle rolled onto its side Friday morning in a crash that closed a busy stretch of highway for about an hour.
The three-vehicle accident happened shortly before 10 a.m. in the westbound lanes of Route 422, at Limekiln Road, in Amity Twp., Berks Co.
Both westbound lanes of 422 were closed, as was one eastbound lane, while emergency crews worked at the scene. The highway reopened around 11 a.m.
Two people were taken to a hospital, but police on the scene said it appeared their injuries were not too serious.
