Volunteers make care packages for homeless veterans

SINKING SPRING, Pa. -

Some dedicated volunteers spent Wednesday afternoon putting together Christmas care packages for homeless veterans in Berks County.

About eight members of the Ladies Auxiliary of Sinking Spring meet every second Wednesday to make lunch for homeless vets.

All the food is donated.

This week the ladies also put together extra care packages.

The ladies have been getting together to make the lunches for the past four months.

Three other VFW's make lunches on the other Wednesdays.
