Will Reading Airport lose tower staff in sequester cuts?

The sequester could put Reading Regional Airport in a bind.

The Federal Aviation Administration's plan for dealing with the cuts includes closing more than 100 air traffic control towers.

Reading's tower is among those being considered for closure, but a tower controller at the airport told us, even if the closure does happen, it won't be implemented for at least a year.

That person also told us the airport would have the option of finding a way to staff the tower on its own.
