READING, Pa. -

A ceremony has been set to dedicate a stretch of Route 662 in Ruscombmanor Township, Berks County, as the "Chief Warrant Officer-2 Jarett M. Yoder Highway."

Yoder was a 26-year-old Oley Valley High School graduate who died in April 2013 when his Apache helicopter crashed in Afghanistan.

Pennsylvania Governor Tom Corbett signed House Bill 925 into law in November, naming the stretch of Route 662 between Fleetwood and Oley in Yoder's honor.

Pennsylvania Senator Judy Schwank, members of the Pennsylvania National Guard, local emergency responders, Yoder's family, and other public officials will gather for a dedication ceremony at 10 a.m. on Friday at Reuben Strauss Park, near the intersection of Routes 662 and 12 in Ruscombmanor Township.
