A Berks County group is putting out a call for mentors.

The group 'Mentors for Berks Youth' said it's looking for "accomplished" adults to pair with students in Reading and Muhlenberg Township.

The mentors will meet with high school students to teach them skills that will set them on the right paths in life. Organizers said the goal is to get students thinking about their future careers and education.

"With the mentor relationships, what we really look to happen there is for them to explore all the different things that are available to them and make the choice that's right for them," said Christine Sinclair, executive director, Mentors for Berks Youth.
