Pennsylvania's auditor general is giving Kutztown University high marks for its efforts to save energy.
The school has saved nearly $1.5 million over two years because of its efforts to be green.
In 2008, the school made changes to save energy, including lighting upgrades and window replacements.
State officials said the school didn't comply with a requirement to inventory its assets at least once every three years. The school said it will correct the problem.
