EXETER TWP., Pa. -

Police are investigating another bank robbery in Berks County, the sixth holdup since August 10.

The robbery happened around 11:25 a.m. Saturday at the Customer's Bank on Hearthstone Court in Exeter Township.

The robber approached a teller, saying he was "robbing the bank," according to police, who said he was armed with a black handgun.

The robber got cash and ran from the bank in a northeasterly direction, said police, who described him as a white man who stands between five feet, three inches and five feet, six inches tall. He was wearing a navy blue-colored t-shirt, gray shorts, a black and white baseball cap and dark glasses. Police said he had a small injury on his face that was covered with dried blood.

This is the sixth bank robbery in Berks County and the second in Exeter Township since August 10.

The last holdup in Exeter was committed by a woman on the morning of August 16 at the M&T Bank at 4000 Perkiomen Avenue.

The robber fled on foot with cash and got into a black sedan driven by a man, police said. 

No arrests have been made in that robbery.
