ALLENTOWN, Pa. -

A house fire in Allentown had crews busy Friday afternoon as well.

It happened just before 6 at a residence in the 300 block of Franklin Street.

Officials say a massive amount of structural damage was done to the building.

That's forced a number of residents out their homes.

Firefighters cleared the scene around 7:20 Friday evening but crews are still checking for hot spots.

No word on what sparked the fire.
