2012 Freddy participants announced
To celebrate the Freddy Awards' 10th anniversary, the event is setting another record by featuring an unprecedented number of participating schools: 30!
This is the first year Nazareth High School in Northampton County will participate in the show.
The State Theatre in Easton will host the 2012 Freddy Awards' 10th anniversary of the award-winning show: Fred X.
The Freddys recognize and reward exceptional accomplishments in the production and performance of musical theater in high schools in Lehigh and Northampton counties in Pennsylvania and Warren County, N.J.
The Freddy Awards program will culminate in a three-hour television awards ceremony on Thurs., May 24 at the State Theatre.
Produced in partnership with 69-WFMZ, the show will air live from 7 p.m. until 10 p.m. on TV and on WFMZ.com.
69 News' Ed Hanna will co-host the ceremony with the State Theatre's Shelley Brown.
