ALLENTOWN, Pa. -

Allentown Mayor Ed Pawloski is ready to officially declare his intention to keep his job.

The mayor is gathering with the media Monday afternoon at a union hall at 12th and Liberty streets to officially announce his re-election bid.

Pawlowski has been elected to the post twice.

The election will be held in November of this year.
