Allentown Mayor Ed Pawlowski's office is now mold-free, officials said.

Mold was discovered in the mayor's office a few months ago. Since then, workers have removed contaminated wall coverings, scrubbed the walls from top to bottom and painted them with mold-resistant paint.

City officials said all the mold is now gone, and the project came in on budget.
