ALLENTOWN, Pa. -

Construction crews in Allentown are making progress on a place for the homeless.

Frames are up for the expansion of the Sixth Street Shelter.

Crews started demolishing the previous building on this property in April.

More than $800,000 was raised to fund the addition which will feature five apartments.

Officials say it'll allow them to serve 30 more families per year.
