ALLENTOWN, Pa. -

It may be cold outside, but people were thinking ice cream!

Da Vinci Science Center held its annual "Ice Cream Wars" competition this past Saturday.

Teams created ice cream out of liquid nitrogen, and folks tasted it and chose a winner.

WFMZ had a team in the event and created a blue shade of vanilla ice cream, but unfortunately our mix didn't get the top prize.

PPL's team was the overall winner..
