An effort to stop a development project in Lehigh County appears to have hit a roadblock.
Developer David Jaindl wants to build warehouses, homes and a shopping center on a slice of land in Lower Macungie Township, but for the past three years, a group of residents has been fighting the development.
Most recently in court, a judge ordered the residents to post a $275,000 bond to protect Jaindl from any damages he may incur from further delay on the project.
An attorney for the residents, however, said that money wasn't posted by the Monday deadline.
It's not clear what that will mean for the legal battle.
