Bangor firefighter's lawsuit moving forward

BANGOR, Pa. -

A federal lawsuit against a Northampton County fire company over an alleged drunken driving incident now has the OK to move forward.

Tuesday a federal judge denied a motion by the North Bangor Volunteer Fire Company to have the lawsuit thrown out.

The suit was filed by firefighter Stuart Mintz. He was hurt when the fire-truck he was riding in overturned back in 2010.

Police say former assistant fire chief Zachary Romano was driving and he was charged with DUI.
