Bangor police say they have caught an alleged jewelry felon.
Robert S. Shotwell, 33, of Pen Argyl, was arrested Friday for allegedly selling more than $2,000 worth of stolen jewelry to Bangor Coins and Collectibles four times over a two-month period, according to police.
The jewelry was from burglaries in New Jersey, police said.
Shotwell is charged with one felony count of receiving stolen property. He is scheduled to be arraigned on Monday.
Shotwell is currently lodged in Northampton County Prison on other charges.
Bangor police conducted the joint investigation with the New Jersey State Police and Blairstown Police Department.
