BETHLEHEM, Pa. -

"I think it's great to be able to restore an old building that's been a tired throughout its past years and bring back to life and get some fresh blood and new residents into downtown Bethlehem," said Anthony Scarcia, president Allied Building Corporation.

Bethlehem's Dodson Building, the former home of the Lehigh Coal and Navigation Company, is going under the knife.

The businesses that call it home are being moved out.

The developers which include Allied Building Corporation plan to turn it into an apartment building featuring 21 units.

The developers are familiar with this kind of project.

They recently finished a residential renovation of the Farr Building.
