There's a new tenant coming to the Promenade Shops in Lehigh County but this one won't cure your shopping itch.
Instead it just might give you peace of mind about your health care coverage.
You can call it a one-stop-shop for people looking to address their medical needs.
"It's just another step," said Tony Iannelli, president of the Greater Lehigh Valley Chamber of Commerce.
Capital has been a big player. Not only as a provider, but as a community leader. They've stepped up every time and of course now filling some space and really serving the community from a retail standpoint. Which is unusual."
It's not a doctor's office.
Capital Blue Cross, the insurance company, is setting up this store at The Promenade Shops in Center Valley.
Gary St. Hilaire, the company's President and CEO says Capitol Blue is a new way to engage consumers.
Instead of calling customer service, people can get their questions answered in person in the store.
"With healthcare reform, with the advent of more individual plans and individual choice, consumers are looking for answers to questions that they never had to ask before," added St. Hilaire.
People coming to the retail center will also be able to get health assessments and fitness help.
Two things the CEO of Capital Blue Cross says could keep their healthcare cost down.
"If we invest in someone's long term health we know that their cost over their life period will be much lower," said St. Hilaire.
The store is not limited to only Capital Blue Cross members.
Construction is already underway and the grand opening should take place in December.
