Car show goes global
Car show goes global
The Greater Lehigh Valley Auto Show is still more than a month away... but plans are already in full swing to make it one to remember.
This year the show is "going global!"
The Greater Lehigh Valley Auto show turns 15 this year.
On Tuesday afternoon, dealers gave a sneak peek at some of the cars that will be on display at Stabler Arena.
They say attendance has been up at auto shows nationwide.
"Right down the line with all manufacturers, products are so much better and there is so much pent up demand." said Tom Kwiatek, executive director of the Greater Lehigh Valley Auto Dealers Association.
The theme of this year's show is "Around The World in 27 Ways" and there will be a special treat for visitors at a preview party gala.
All money raised will go to Good Shepherd Rehabilitation Hospital's pediatric unit--a charity that has helped Megan Brislin and her family.
"It's great to see one industry helping another industry out," said Brislin, "Because to have a pediatric facility here it's going to help a lot of families here in the area."
Not only will people be able to see luxury cars -- like the 100th anniversary Corvette-- they'll also be able to see hybrid cars like the Chevy Volt. And there will also be a new feature RV's.
"We've created this mix of cars." added Kwiatek, "So whatever you are, whatever price range you are we have something for you."
Tickets for the March 21 preview gala are on sale now.
The auto show runs from March 22 - 25.
