Career Force, a program which has helped at risk youth in our region for over 20 years, wants to remind the community of their services as well as show off their new location in Allentown.

Career Force, which is part of the greater Career Link Lehigh Valley is now at the program's new location at 555 Union Boulevard.

Thanks to the move, there is now an entire room dedicated to Career Force.

"We can work with them in terms of academic preparation, in trying to land them a work experience where they can get paid work experience, I'll also help them with college applications," said instructor Mike Katz.

"They helped me get my resumes, do job hunting, they helped do my training, they help with everything" said participant Stacey-Ann Downes who moved to the area from Jamaica.

Apart from helping find internships and career opportunities, the program also helps pay the way and covers certain certifications.

In order to be eligible, participants must be between 16 to 21 years of age, not be in school and be unemployed.
