An Allentown man is facing numerous charges surrounding the alleged rape of a young girl.

Police said 25-year-old Carlos Uben-Sanchez of 110 N. Ninth Street is accused of raping a girl who was 10 or 11 years old in 2009-2010, when Sanchez was 21-22 years old.

Uben-Sanchez is facing charges of corruption of minors, rape of a child under 13, statutory sexual assault and related charges.

In the police criminal complaint, Uben-Sanchez admitted he had sexual intercourse one time with the victim.
