Carmike completes Rave purchase

The purchase of a top local movie theater is moving forward.
Carmike Cinemas has completed its $19 million purchase of 16 theaters from Rave Cinemas.
That includes the theater at the Promenade Shops at Saucon Valley.
The only change, for now, is new popcorn buckets.
Theatre officials say new signs should go up in two to three months.
Locally Carmike has movie theaters in Hanover Township, Lehigh County; Wyomissing, Berks County and North Coventry Township, Chester County.
