Coins or credit? New parking meters in Easton accept both

EASTON, Pa. -

Paying for parking is going plastic in some parts of Easton.

The city installed 38 credit card meters near the courthouse Monday as part of a 90-day trial.

The meters still accept coins, but they also take all major credit cards.

If the meters are a success, officials said the next batch could be installed around Easton's Centre Square.
