A former firefighter will spend time behind bars for starting several fires.
Cory Praschyk, of Bethlehem, was sentenced Monday to one to two years in jail plus five years probation.
Praschyk and Nicolle Balliet set a number of fires across Lehigh County earlier this year, police said. Balliet was sentenced last month.
Praschyk, who is also charged with setting two fires in Northampton County, served as a volunteer firefighter with several fire companies in the Lehigh Valley, officials said.
