ALLENTOWN, Pa. -

Thanksgiving leftovers are mixing with science and education in Allentown.

The Da Vinci Science Center is having its Thanksgiving Leftover Science event this weekend.

The center is showing kids how to bend bones with water and vinegar and write secret messages using cranberry juice.

Workers are also creating carrot rockets and shooting pieces of carrot across the road.

Leftover Science runs through Monday.
