Danica Patrick inspires one local racer
A 'history in the making' moment in sports as the first woman to ever win the pole in a Sprint Cup race took to the track Sunday.
The Daytona 500 was on every screen at the at Lehigh Valley Grand’s Prix’s Octane-Adrenaline Restaurant and Bar in Allentown.
There was a viewing party so fans could watch Danica Patrick and the other drivers in the race.
There's a kart track here as well and one young racer spent the day racing. She's known as Danica 10.
"Competing today was fun because some people I like passed and stuff and I got really fast times and the race today on TV- I think it's been going pretty well," said racer Jessica Brey.
Jessica says she races just about every week.
