A dead cat has turned up at Phillipsburg High School in Warren Co., N.J., and police said they want to know if the school's football rivalry with Easton has anything to do with it.
The cat was left at the front door of the high school sometime overnight, said police, who haven't said how the animal died.
Last week, Easton's Red Rover statue was stolen. It turned up at Phillipsburg High School and was returned to Easton on Monday.
The schools will square off in their annual Thanksgiving football match-up on Thursday.
