Dent panel on student athlete concussions
A local congressman is among those rallying for legislation that may help student athletes.
Congressman Charlie Dent was one of the hosts of a panel discussion Wednesday morning on the effects of concussion injuries on student athletes.
The panel in Washington D.C. came out of the National Collegiate Athletes Accountability Act which Dent helped to introduce in August.
The act includes a requirement for baseline concussion testing for student athletes.
