State Police in Fogelsville are investigating after a pedestrian was killed Tuesday morning.

It happened on the ramp from Hamilton Boulevard North to Interstate 78 eastbound around 5:30 in Lower Macungie Twp.

Police say 22-year-old Zhen Li  was walking across the ramp as a jeep driven by 19-year-old Zachary James Edwards of Allentown couldn't stop in time.

Li was taken to Lehigh Valley-Cedar Crest where she was pronounced dead.

Li is from China and was working at Dorney Park this summer, officials said.

She died of multiple traumatic injuries and her death was ruled an accident.
