Police are investigating a stabbing that was apparently the result of a domestic assault.

Easton Police said officers found a man bleeding from a laceration on his head Thursday night around 10:20.

Joaquin Martinez-Perez, 39, of 124 N. Warren Street, was taken by EMS to the hospital for treatment of his non-life threatening injuries.

Police said it appears this incident was not a random act and was most likely a domestic assault.

No arrests have been made.

The investigation continues.
