Wilson borough police arrested an Easton man Wednesday following a series of drug buys arranged through a confidential informant.
Authorities charged Amin A. Walker, of the 1100 block of Lehigh Street, with four felony counts of possession with intent to deliver, three felony counts of criminal use of a communication device and a single count of possession of drug paraphernalia.
District Judge Dan Corpora arraigned the 40-year-old late Wednesday morning, setting bail on a combined $75,000 on two sets of charges.
Wilson police said they used a confidential informant to allegedly purchase crack from Walker during brief encounters on June 4 and June 21 in the 2000 block of Butler Street and to arrange another deal on June 29.
Authorities said they stopped Walker on June 29, when he arrived to make a third sale to the informant. Police searched Walker and allegedly found crack.
After his arrest, investigators searched his Lehigh Street apartment and found crack, packaging materials and a scale, according to court records.
Walker failed to post bail and was sent to Northampton County Prison. His next court date is a preliminary hearing tentatively scheduled for Sept. 28.
