Faculty members at Pennsylvania's 14 state-owned universities are another step closer to striking.
The Association of Pennsylvania State College and University Faculties has scheduled a strike authorization vote.
It's set for Nov. 12, 13 and 14.
The union says a committee will meet in Harrisburg on Nov. 16 to begin counting ballots.
The move comes amid stalled contract negotiations.
There has never been a faculty strike at the state-owned schools, which include Kutztown and East Stroudsburg universities.
