EASTON, Pa. -

Ground was broken more than two years ago, and now a housing development in Easton is officially complete with the grand opening of "The Homes at Neston Heights."

The 42-unit development is the third and final phase of Neston Heights, which replaced the troubled Delaware Terrace housing project.

The first phase was a development of family homes; the second was for senior citizens.

With final phase, developers said they really worked to create a sense of community.

"The homes all follow what's called a new urbanism principle, which is eyes on the street, a walkable community. Here in front of the model home is a big open field meant for play," said Kyle Speece, Pennrose Properties LLC.

Town homes, twin homes and single-family homes are all available. The units range in price from $90,000 to $150,000.
