Fire forces short evacuation at Whitehall Manor

Residents at an assisted living home in Lehigh County had to leave their rooms for a while Sunday night.
 
Crews on the scene said a fire started in one of the rooms at the Whitehall Manor on Sixth Street in Whitehall Twp. and there was heavy smoke in one of the wings.

Residents were evacuated until firefighters checked it all out but they able to go back into the building after a short time.
