A Northampton County fire was brought under control by firefighters in about 10 minutes.
The fire broke out just before 7 a.m. Tuesday in an apartment building in the 2700 block of Nazareth Road in Palmer Twp.
Fire officials said the building had severe fire and smoke damage inside and out and is uninhabitable.
The building has six apartments and five were inhabited.
Officials said all the residents were displaced but have found other housing so Red Cross services weren't needed.
County officials said there were no injuries reported but two cats died in the fire.
Officials said the fire was accidental.
