Firefighters battle house fire in Allentown

ALLENTOWN, Pa. -

Allentown firefighters battled a house fire in the city Saturday evening.

It broke out just before 5pm at a home at 3036 Evans street in the city, officials said.

Firefighters at the scene tell 69 News the fire started near the chimney of the home, but there's no word on if it actually started in the chimney.

No one was injured.

Officials were wrapping up at the scene just before 6pm Saturday.
