It quickly became a busy afternoon for emergency responders as severe thunderstorms moved through the region Thursday.
Firefighters in Salisbury Twp., Lehigh Co., battled a fire that went to three alarms before they could bring it under control.
The fire was reported shortly before 2 p.m. at a home in the 2800 block of Lindberg Avenue.
A strong storm was moving through the area at the time the fire was reported, but officials have not said whether lightning is to blame.
No one was injured, said emergency dispatchers.
Meanwhile, firefighters and paramedics were called around 2:20 p.m. to the driver's license center at Lloyd Street and Airport Road in Hanover Twp., Lehigh Co., for the report of the building being struck by lightning and one person being injured, emergency dispatchers said.
