HANOVER TWP., Pa. -

Two firefighters had to be sent to the hospital after battling a fire in Northampton Co. Sunday morning.

The blaze was sparked around 7:20 a.m. at a vacant home in the 2900 block of Kenwick Dr. in Hanover Twp., according to officials.

The home is a rental property but the tenants moved out about a month ago.

Officials say the cause of the fire is still under investigation. 

The two firefighters suffered non-life threatening injuries and were being treated. There is no word on their names or current conditions.
