Crews worked Tuesday to fix a gas main leak at Lehigh University.
The main was struck at Stabler Arena at 124 Goodman Dr. in Bethlehem around 8:45 a.m. Tuesday.
UGI officials said the company received a 911 call about a natural gas line that was hit during an excavation on the university's Goodman Campus.
UGI said the 6 inch plastic main was shut off by 9:45 a.m.
About 255 homes lost gas service. UGI officials said they will begin restoring service to customers at about 4:30 p.m. Tuesday. All customers are expected to be restored by about 10:00 p.m.

Everyone was evacuated from the arena.
There were no injuries reported.
