BETHLEHEM TWP., Pa. -

Ground has been broken on a major development project in Northampton County.

The Madison Farms subdivision and land development will be built off Freemansburg Avenue in Bethlehem Township.

It will include more than 800 housing units along with retail and commercial space.

The anchor retail tenant will be a ShopRite grocery store.

The development is expected to create hundreds of jobs, and it's expected to be completed in the spring of 2015.
