Allentown police hauled in quite the cuddly stash Monday.

A Dieruff High School sewing club presented Chief Joe Hanna with more than 30 hand-sewn teddy bears.

The bears will provide comfort inside the police station-- a place that can be a scary place for kids.

"We want the bears to be used for children in traumatic situations," said organizer Ruth O'Connell.

This isn't the first time the "Sew What" club has given back.

Members have sewn pillow cases for a hospital and beds for a cat rescue.

The sewing club was founded by two 1961 graduates of Dieruff High School.
