Jaindl development plan hits roadblock

A controversial plan to develop 700 acres in Lehigh County has hit a roadblock.

The Lower Macungie Township Planning Commission rejected David Jaindl's plan to construct a mix of warehouses, stores and homes on property in the area of Sauerkraut Road and Route 100.

Jaindl says the plan was rejected because he did not submit all the required documentation on time.

Jaindl says he plans to revisit the proposal with township officials in the near future.
