Jesse Jackson coming to the Lehigh Valley

BETHLEHEM, Pa. -

Civil rights activist Jesse Jackson will speak at two local colleges in mid-February.

Jackson will speak about leadership at Lehigh University on Feb. 13

Jackson will talk about poverty and inequality at Moravian College at noon on Feb. 14  in Johnson Hall.

The program at Moravian, "A Conversation with Jesse Jackson," is open to the public and admission is free.

Jackson is the founder and president of the Rainbow PUSH Coalition, According to its website, the RPC is a multi-racial, multi-issue, progressive, international membership organization fighting for social change.

Johnston Hall is located on Moravian’s Main Street Campus near the corner of Monocacy and Locust streets in Bethlehem.

Seating is limited. Doors will open at 11:30 a.m.

Moravian College encourages persons with disabilities to participate in its programs and activities.
