Lehigh County Democrats say they have their man for a state house seat.
The Lehigh County Democratic Committee has recommended John Reynard to replace Patrick Slattery in the race for the 134th District.
Slattery dropped out last month.
He lost to Republican Ryan MacKenzie in a special election in April.
MacKenzie is completing the term of Republican lawmaker-turned-judge Doug Reichley.
Reynard is a personal investment consultant from Emmaus.
He has also worked at Merrill-Lynch.
He's also been a business and economics professor at Lehigh University and Lehigh Carbon Community College.
